STREATOR – On Friday Woodland School District announced a sixth grade student has tested positive for COVID-19.  Superintendent Ryan McGuckin said that due to the individual having come into contact with staff, other students and employees at the school, all sixth grade students would transition to E-Learning from home for the next 14 days.   School officials noted that they worked with contact tracers to notify all individuals in every grade level and staff that had potentially been near the student to be quarantined as well.  The rest of Woodland School will remain on their regular schedule.  The district notes that the student was asymptomatic, however, they did have a family member test positive the previous day.
