OTTAWA – A 26-year-old Ottawa woman faces felony charges after a business reported a burglary with a large amount of cash allegedly taken. Last Friday Ottawa Police say they were called to the 100 block of East Etna Road where they began an investigation and reviewed security footage. It was determined by authorities that the money in question was in Naperville where it was recovered. Thursday morning a warrant was issued for Jordan T. Hellems and she was taken into custody charged with class 2 felonies of burglary and theft. The class 2 felony is based on the amount being taken allegedly being between $10,000 and $100,000. She was taken to the LaSalle County Jail and is being held on $30,000 bond.
