PERU – The long awaited addition of the celebrity owned burger chain to the Peru Hy-Vee finally opened Tuesday. The Wahlburgers restaurant, located inside the grocery store, held a ribbon cutting to kick off the first day of business. The Wahlberg family, actor Mark, performer Donnie, and chef Paul began opening the casual dining establishments in 2011, and have over 50 locations around the world.
