MENDOTA – The Mendota City Council welcomed two cadets to join the police force. 28-year-old Seth A. Martin of Earlville and 33-year-old Randy D. Tucker of Mendota were sworn in to the police department at Mendota’s city council meeting on Monday night. Chief Kellen says both officers will begin South Suburban Law Enforcement Academy at the College of Dupage in Glen Ellen on September 16th.
