Two Arrested in Interstate Egg Throwing Incident

LASALLE – Two men were arrested Friday after allegedly throwing eggs off of an overpass along Interstate 80.
According to the Illinois State Police, troopers were called in response to person who had sustained damage to their vehicle from an egg dropped from an overpass. During the investigation, it was determined that this had occurred on two other occasions between Utica and Ottawa.
The Illinois State Police made contact with and arrested two subjects, 18 year-old Joseph J. Hawks of Marseilles and 19 year-old Noah A. Wright of Ottawa. They were both charged with Felony Vehicular Endangerment and Criminal Damage to Property. (FILE PHOTO STUDSTILL MEDIA)
