LADD – A traffic stop last Thursday morning along Interstate 80 near Ladd led to the arrest of a pair from California on a number of drug charges. In a release by the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team, a free air K-9 search initiated a search that discovered purported drugs in tightly wrapped packages hidden in various parts of the vehicle. Recovered was nearly 19 pounds of alleged methampetamines. Arrested was 26-year-old Gabriela Orteaga and 38-year-old Raul Lepe, both of Los Angeles. Both are being held on 750,000 dollars bond.
