STREATOR – Streator High School students will be seeing a furry four-legged friend roaming around the school this fall. Superintendent Dr. Matt Seaton says the school is awaiting the arrival of their therapy pup that will be born this summer. The board chose a couple from within the school to be the pup’s handlers. The couple will begin handler training before the pups arrival this summer and will go through on-site training at the school in the fall. The therapy dog is all part of Streator Area United Way’s Therapy Dog Program.
