STREATOR – Streator’s City Council is expected to approve an updated 5 year road plan. After discussions last month, city Engineer Jeremy Palm added Court Street as an additional road needing improvements in 2022. General Fund projects for this upcoming year include the 700 through 800 blocks of East Elm Street, 100 block of South Colorado Street, 100 through 300 blocks of East Wilson Street and the 100 through 500 blocks of Spring Street. Motor-Fuel Tax funded projects for 2020 include, River Avenue, West Wilson Street, Fuller Avenue, East Bronson, East 1st Street, West 1st Street, Riverside Avenue, South 2nd Street and South Everett Street. Total costs for both projects range from $300,000 to $500,000.
