STREATOR – Streator Township High School’s auditorium renovations are moving along and board members are predicting an opening day by next Spring. At Tuesday night’s board meeting, Architect Brice Alt, presented various samples of finishes and material that will be used for bathrooms, stage curtains and sound panels. Superintendent Matt Seaton says the board will receive chair samples next month to decide on style and color. He says the new seating with built in lighting, will be sized variously and situated to create a staggered effect for viewers. The arrangements will allow for a non obstructive view for all audience members. The opening day is projected for April 1st 2020.
