Stabbing in Princeton on Thursday

PRINCETON – The victim of a stabbing on Thursday in Princeton was airlifted to a Peoria Hospital and one man was arrested. Princeton Police say that they were called to Perry Memorial Hospital after the victim arrived. During the investigation, they determined that the person was stabbed around 5 PM in the 800 block of North Grosse. Police took 25-year-old Anthony M. Lamb of Princeton into custody and charged him with one count of Aggravated Battery, a class 3 felony and took him to the Bureau County Jail. The victim is reportedly in stable condition. The incident is still under investigation by the Princeton Police Department and the Illinois State Police.
