Local firefighters will come to your house with a fire truck on your child’s birthday

 
SPRING VALLEY – The Spring Valley Fire Department, the Lostant Fire Department, and the Dalzell Fire Protection District are offering to spread cheer to kids who have birthdays coming up, amid the stay-at-home order. For those living in those cities and have a child under 12 that will be celebrating a birthday,  fire departments are offering to bring a fire truck by your home on your child’s birthday. Firefighters will stop in front of your home and turn the lights and sirens to wish your child a happy birthday. You can contact your local fire department for more information.
