Serial killer to be interviewed again Thursday about possible LaSalle County murder

PERU – Profiler Phil Chalmers said he will be speaking with Dellmus Colvin again today to try to confirm the date and location of the remains of the person he claims he had killed sometime between 1999-2005 in LaSalle County. The 61-year-old is currently serving a life sentence in an Ohio prison for seven murders. LaSalle County Sheriff Tom Templeton said those searching found bones near an old truck wash on May Road Wednesday near Peru, and those are going to be examined by the Illinois State Police. Colvin claims to have picked up a woman at a truck stop in LaSalle and murdering her in his semi-truck before dumping her nude body in a wooded area. Authorities are still trying to determine who the woman could be.
