SANDWICH- A Sandwich man was arrested after allegedly threatening another man with a pitchfork. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office day they were called around 8 PM Saturday to the 800 block of Gletty Road to take a report from a person who claimed 75-year-old John R. Perkins of Sandwich allegedly walked up to him with a pitchfork and said “I will put this through you”. The victim also alleged that Perkins threatened to shoot him. He reportedly left the scene but was later located at his residence and taken to the DeKalb County Jail with bond yet to be set.
