Roundabout; Road Repairs Reviewed

PERU – Peru City Council approved a motion to allow the city engineer to take bids for the road improvement project at North Peoria Street. City Engineer Eric Carls explained that the overall improvement project, which includes adding a roundabout at the intersection of Plank Road and Sunset Drive and the widening of Peoria Street, will cost around $3.8 million. He also encouraged residents to meet with him if they have any questions regarding the project.
