Rail Facility Accident Takes Life of 19-year-old in Aurora

AURORA – A 19-year-old man is dead after becoming trapped under wood panels at a rail facility in Aurora on Thursday. According to the Aurora Police Department they were called around 9:30 AM along with the Aurora Fire Department to the 600 block of McClure Road where they found the man pinned under large wood blocks used to stabilize construction equipment. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is still under investigation by officers from the BNSF Railroad Police Department, OSHA, and the Aurora Police Department. The mans identity was not released.
