Putnam County records 80.5% turnout during Tuesday election

PUTNAM COUNTY – Putnam County recorded over 3300 votes with an 80.5% countywide turnout in the election Tuesday. A referendum on the ballot to increase the Putnam County Corporate Tax Rate was voted down by over 1000 votes, with 67% voting against the measure. The two at large Putnam County Board seats were won by Floyd “B.J.” Holocker III and Anthony “Tony” Rue Jr.
