Putnam County On COVID-19 Warning List, 25 New Deaths in Illinois

PRINCETON – The Bureau, Putnam and Marshall County Health Departments announced Friday evening 17 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, and that Putnam County is now on the state’s warning list.  The health department said that Bureau County has been removed from Illinois’ warning level list and is now at normal levels, but Putnam County is now has now reached warning levels.  Friday, 17 people contracted COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, 15 in Bureau County, including two baby girls and 2 male toddlers, one adult in Marshall County, and one man in his 30’s in Putnam County.  All are recovering at home.  Saturday at noon, the state released its numbers for the past 24 hours.  2,441 new COVID-19 infections have been reported, and 25 additional coronavirus related deaths.
The cases released by the Bureau, Putnam & Marshall County Health Departments Include:
15 new cases in Bureau County all recovering at home

  • Two Female Infants
  • Two Male Toddlers
  • Two Male Children
  • Three Females in their 30s
  • Two Females in their 40s
  • One Male in his 50s
  • One Male in his 70s

One New Case in Marshall County, Recovering At Home

  • One Female in her 80s

One New Case in Putnam County, Recovering at Home

  • One Male in his 30s

 
The Bureau, Putnam and Marshall County Health Departments announced several testing sites.  In addition to daily testing available at Perry Memorial Hospital and St. Margaret’s Hospital, BPMCHD will offer the following free Covid-19 testing beginning on September 30th:
