Princeton School Bond Question Fails at Ballot Box

PRINCETON – The referendum on the ballot in Bureau and Putnam County to build a new school and demolish old buildings has failed.  The question asked if they should raise $35 million in bonds for the construction was voted down by a narrow margin Tuesday night.  The proposal was to demolish Lincoln Elementary and Logan Junior High and remodel Douglas and Jefferson Elementary.
