Plumber and bio-mechanic scholar give testimonies at Cusick trial

OTTAWA – A plumber and a bio-mechanic scholar gave expert witness testimonies on behalf of prosecution at the trial of a former Ottawa fireman accused of murder. 52-year-old Kenneth Cusick faces a charge of first degree murder for allegedly drowning his wife in a toilet January 2006. . A scholar of injury bio-mechanics testified to the jury that the position Cusick claims he found Tracy in, with her nose and mouth submerged in toilet water, can’t physically be maintained if she were unconscious. The prosecution is expected to continue calling their witnesses tomorrow at the LaSalle County Courthouse in Ottawa.
