Peru Police K9 Receives Body Armor

PERU – The Peru K9 Officer now is equipped with armor thanks to a donation from a charity. On Thursday Peru Police announced that Vested Interest have delivered to Saxon his new protective vest. The vest, valued at $950.00, is embroidered with the phrase “Born to Love-Trained to Serve-Loyal Always”. Each vest has a five-year warranty and an average weight of 4-5 lbs. There is an estimated 30,000 law enforcement K9s throughout the United States.
