Peru Library open for browsing

PERU – The Peru Public Library is opening for browsing by patrons this Wednesday, January 20th! When patrons stop by they will be able to browse the library’s collections on both floors. And they will notice several new collections. The library has added videogames, Story Time Kits, and Community Writing Topics to the circulating collections.
The six public computers are available for 1-hour per day per person. Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, the library’s study rooms, study tables, and reading chairs are not available for use.
Visitors are reminded to wear masks while at the library. Books, Hotspots, Rokus. DVD’s and other returned items continue in quarantine for three days before library staff checks them in.
Library hours remain the same, Monday-Thursday 10 am-6 pm, Friday 10 am-4 pm, Saturday 10 am-1 pm. Consumer Reports, MyHeritage, Brainfuse, ebooks (Libby and eRead Illinois), the Library’s digital services remain available 24/7/365, access them through the Peru Library website (perulibrary.org, then Quick Links).
