Peru City Council approves marijuana dispensary

 

 
 
 
PERU – A marijuana dispensary is digging its roots in Peru. On Monday night the Peru City Council approved unanimously to grant the special use permit to Kana Grove North, LLC to open shop at 1320 E 38th street. Representatives for Kana Grove pitched a presentation to the council stating that it was a “no-brainer” to operate in Peru.

Kana officials project revenue as high as the Ottawa dispensary, $975,000 per month, and generate over a million dollars to the city in taxes annually. The dispensary plans to be fully operational in a year.
