PERU – A Peoria woman will be transferred to the LaSalle County Jail on methamphetamine delivery charges in Peru. According authorities, 35-year-old Krista L. Coats was taken into custody on Tuesday by detectives with the Peoria Police Department who assisted Peru Police detectives after Coats allegedly delivered more than 5 grams of methamphetamine in May to an undercover Peru police officer. She is expected to be taken to the LaSalle County Jail today. Her bond is set at $1 million.
