STREATOR – A person passing by a home in Streator noticed smoke coming from a window, and alerted those inside of a fire on Tuesday. The Streator Fire Department say they were called to the 300 block of Goulding Street around 1:45 PM where the found smoke coming from the gable of the single story home. Crews quickly had the fire under control, and an investigation determined the cause of the fire to be electrical in nature. No injuries were reported and the damage to the home wasn’t extensive.
