OTTAWA – An Ottawa Township High School staff member was arrested Friday on a charge of sexual assaulting a minor, officials say. Authorities state 22-year-old Alex Jacob-Guadalupe Fuentes was charged with sexually assaulting and abusing a minor in April of 2018. Ottawa Police Department said the minor disclosed that she had had sexual contact allegedly with Fuentes, and a warrant for his arrest was obtained on Wednesday. Fuentes was charged with one count of Criminal Sexual Assault and one count of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse. Authorities state Fuentes was taken into custody and transported to the LaSalle County Jail with a bond set at $100,000.
