Ottawa to replace well pump; Mayor remains quarantined

OTTAWA – Ottawa Commissioner Wayne Eichelkraut stood in as mayor pro tempore on Tuesday night’s city council meeting. As Mayor Dan Aussem is still facing COVID-19 quarantine restrictions, Eickelkraut led the meeting discussing repairs to a broken well pump, among other things. The council voted to replace well pump #10 that has been in need of repair for over a month. The replacement should cost around $86,000.
