PONTIAC – Four more residents of Livingston County have tested positive for coronavirus disease. The Livingston County Health Department on Thursday say a woman in her 60’s is currently hospitalized battling COVID-19. Three other new cases were recovering at home in isolation. Countywide, 43 individuals are considered active cases with four deaths being reported since the Pandemic began. For those Livingston County residents who test positive for COVID-19, the health department will reach out to them individually and all of their close contacts within 24 hours of receiving notification. A close contact is defined as anyone within 6 feet of the person infected for at least 10-15 minutes in the 48 hours prior to either experiencing symptoms or receiving testing.
