OTTAWA – One person was killed after a single vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 80 Friday morning. The Illinois State Police say a vehicle driven westbound by a Princeton man for unknown reasons left the roadway and rolled, entrapping both occupants. The driver was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, however, the passenger was pronounced deceased at an area hospital. The name of the deceased has not been released pending next-of-kin notification and charges of Aggravated Driving Under the Influence have been filed by the LaSalle County State’s Attorney’s office against 27-year-old Nicholaus J. Cain. The crash remains under investigation by the Illinois State Police.
