OTTAWA – One man died at the scene of a mutiple vehicle crash that delayed traffic on Interstate 80 on Thursday afternoon. According to the Illinois State Police around 1 PM near mile marker 83 between Utica and Ottawa a crash occurred that resulted in the death of a Streator man. The LaSalle County Coroner pronounced 64-year-old Michael D. Schubbe deceased at the scene. The incident is under investigation by the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office and the Illinois State Police.
