Oglesby Woman Killed in Motorcycle Crash

PRINCETON – A Sunday afternoon collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle has taken the life of a woman and left one man injured. In a release by the Princeton Police Department, they state that around 4:15 p.m. they were called to the intersection of Main and Peru Street where they found the two subjects who had been riding a motorcycle in the intersection being treated by Princeton EMS. They were taken to Perry Memorial Hospital where 57-year-old Nora Fenza of Oglesby succumbed to her injuries. The other person on the motorcycle, Daniel Richard, no age given, of Sugar Grove, was treated. The status of his condition is not known. According to Police Chief Tom Kammerer, witnesses stated they saw a vehicle driving west on Peru street collide with the motorcycle traveling east in the intersection. The Princeton Police Department is still seeking additional witnesses to the accident, and they ask that you call them if you saw anything.
