Oglesby Fire Department Awarded State Grant

OGLESBY – The State Fire Marshal announced the recipients of the Small Firefighting and Ambulance Service Equipment Grant Program, which will be given to departments to purchase equipment and tools. The Oglesby Fire Department will be receiving $15,500 from the state Fire Prevention Fund. Statewide, over $2.2 million was awarded to one hundred departments to spend on safety equipment, protective clothing, breathing apparatus and other tools.
