No injuries in Thursday rural Ottawa fire

OTTAWA – A large two story home caught fire Thursday afternoon near Ottawa.   Around 2 PM the Wallace Fire Department was called to the 2900 block of East 14th Road and upon arrival called for a mutual aid box alarm.  Smoke was showing from the second story as crews arrived from Ottawa Fire, Grand Ridge, Marseilles, Utica, Serena, and Oglesby Fire to help battle the blaze.   No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
