DEPUE – No injuries were reported in a house fire with occupants in Depue on Thursday. According to Depue Fire Chief Steven Rauh, they were called shortly before 2 p.m. for a call of a fire reported in an upstairs bedroom of a house located in the 100 block of East 4th Street. Rauh says the woman who called for help made it out of the house safely with her children. The fire was extinguished within the hour. The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation. Spring Valley and Ladd were also called to the scene for assistance.
