PRINCETON – The man who was the center of the police standoff in Princeton most of the day on Friday has not yet had a bond hearing. Princeton Police say they were called to the 600 block of North First Street early Friday for the report of a person with a weapon in a home. Inside, they say 47 year-old Eric C. Truedson refused to come out. After nearly 11 hours of continual negotiations, the home caught fire.
He was taken into custody after allegedly resisting arrest. Truedson was charged with Aggravated Use of a Weapon and was taken to the hospital for injuries sustained during the incident.
