STREATOR – Illinois Valley Community College is now offering a class that will enhance the chances of being hired by local manufacturers. The fabrication class has been approved by Vactor Manufacturing one of Streator’s biggest employers. The class is a customized, 6-week course covering the basics of fabrication skills to create prototypes. The preferred course is said to increase chances for hire by Vactor and other local companies.
