Motorcycle Club Denied

PERU – A motorcycle club was denied special use of a property at a hearing, Wednesday. The city of Peru denied the text amendment for “Brothers of Darkness”, a 19-member motorcycle club usage of a property located at 1024 Center Street. Head member and property owner, Robert Miller, says the building would be used to manufacture goods like furniture during the week and club events on the weekends. Chief Bernabei and Peru zoning did not recommend the amendment, as it violates zoning ordinances. The vote to deny the text amendment was unanimous.
