MORRIS – One man is dead after a single vehicle crash in Grundy County on Saturday. According to Grundy County Coroner John W. Callahan 27 year-old Virgil V. Saenz was eastbound on Marseilles Road near Walker’s Corner when for unknown reasons his vehicle left the pavement and entered the ditch. Saenz vehicle then came out of the ditch and across the roadway into the other ditch before coming to a rest. EMS transported him to the Morris Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The crash investigation continues by members of the Sheriff’s Dept along with the Coroner’s office.
