More surveillance coming to downtown Mendota

MENDOTA – More surveillance cameras are coming to downtown Mendota.   The Mendota Police Department announced last week that over the summer crews will be installing additional video surveillance equipment in an effort to keep the community safe.  They noted that the existing cameras have been helpful over last several years in documenting cases like an aggravated discharge of a firearm into a business to motor vehicle crashes, plus other criminal investigations.
