More charges for man arrested after Mendota pursuit

MENDOTA – The man already facing charges after allegedly fleeing Mendota Police is reportedly wanted out of state on drug charges.   The Mendota Police Department say that 38-year-old Joshua N. Hamrick is a Fugitive From Justice after they learned of a Washington County, Oregon nationwide arrest warrant for the offense of failure to appear on heroin distribution charges.  Bond on the Oregon state arrest warrant is $580,000.   He is awaiting transfer to the LaSalle County Jail.

An alleged pursuit Thursday has Hamrick facing Fleeing and Eluding charges and two failure to appear charges out of Lee and Whiteside County.  Mendota Police say additional charges pertaining to auto theft and possession of a stolen motor vehicle are pending.
