MENDOTA – A new internet provider will be coming to Mendota that is capable of faster speeds than currently available, and the Mayor alerted residents to the appearance of many utility location flags on many properties. SURF Air Wireless LLC will begin the trenching and installation of underground fiber soon. The LaPorte, Indiana company will be installing underground fiber to potentially every home and business in the community. They’ll be offering speeds up to 500 Mbps for around $70 a month.
