MENDOTA – There are plenty of special days at Mendota schools to show your spirit, but some students may not have hats, shirts or other gear to participate. On Tuesday District 289 in Mendota announced that they are accepting used Northbrook Spartan or Mendota Trojan T-shirts, long-sleeved shirts and hoodies as donations to their newly established spirit closet. The Mendota High School student council is running the drive, and they ask that you drop those items off at Northbrook’s main office
