DIXON – A man suspected of crashing his car into a Lee County Sheriff’s Deputy vehicle and fleeing on foot has not been captured. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for 34-year-old Donald E. Powell who was last seen around Dixon. Sheriff John Simonton stated they believe he may have made his way to a roadway, gaining some form of transportation. The search will continue with staff from ISP, Dixon PD and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. The Deputy involved in the crash was treated and later released. Powell is considered armed and dangerous.
