SOMONAUK – One man was injured after his vehicle became stuck on the train tracks West of Somonauk Monday evening. According to the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office, 75 year-old David Erickson of Sandwich was in a vehicle that was struck by a west bound BNSF train. He was taken to a Downers Grove hospital. There is no word on his condition. The railroad reported no injuries on the train. (file photo studstill media)
