MARSEILLES – One man was taken to a Peoria hospital after a stabbing in Marseilles Tuesday. The Marseilles Police Department report that they were called to the 500 block of Wallace Street around 8:15 PM where they located a 54-year-old rural Marseilles man with apparent stab wounds to his abdomen and leg. After an investigation authorities took 57-year-old Terry C. Clark of Marseilles into custody and charged him with Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon, a Class 3 Felony. He was taken to the LaSalle County Jail with bond yet to be set. The victim was listed as being in stable condition.
