Man found after brief morning search at Lake Holiday

LAKE HOLIDAY – A man was reported missing in the early morning hours Friday at Lake Holiday, but was located safely hours later. According to Somonauk Fire Department Assistant Chief Brad Cummings, they were called by the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office to find an adult male who was reportedly last scene near the beach before dawn. After a search of the area that began around 6 AM, the subject was located unharmed over an hour later near a residence on shore. He was examined by paramedics and no injuries were reported.
