Man involved in Streator shooting identified

PONTIAC – A man involved in an incident that occurred on Streator’s southside has been identified. 26-year-old Rene Dominic Lipumano Ramos is deceased as a result of a shooting near the area of 14th Street and Park at 2 p.m. on Friday. According to The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department, they anticipate further information to be released in the days ahead. Authorities say multiple people were involved.
