Lt. Greg Kellen Sworn in as Mendota’s Police Chief

 

MENDOTA – Mendota’s new police chief was sworn into office on Monday. In front of the city council, and a packed room of friends, family and colleagues, Lieutenant Greg Kellen proudly took the oath to be Mendota’s police chief. Chief Kellen thanked the city for the opportunity to serve the city. Kellen started with the Mendota Police Department in dispatch in 1988. Former Chief Thomas L. Smith is ending his 21 year career as head of the force and retiring in February of 2019.
