Livingston County Health Department will resume clinics and screenings

PONTIAC  – The Livingston County Health Department will be resuming Family Planning & Immunization clinics beginning mid-May with some new protocols in place.  In a press release Tuesday they say that individuals will be seen by appointment only and must wear a facemask while in the building and access to the building will be limited to only those who have
an appointment.   Visitors must stay in their cars until they are called to enter the building.  They noted that accommodations will be made for those individuals with children who have no option for care during their appointment.
The LCHD Family Planning Clinic offers birth options, education on a variety of topics, health screenings (e.g. paps, physicals), and STD testing. Appointments are available Tuesdays for Family Planning, Wednesdays for STD testing, and Family Planning drive-thru supply pickup is offered Mondays 8:00am-12:00pm and Thursdays 1:00-4:30pm.
