LASALLE – The LaSalle Public Library has partnered with PCs for People, a non-profit that promotes digital equity through device access, connectivity, and digital literacy and skills training to provide affordable computers to eligible households. The event will take place this Thursday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Desktop computers and mobile hotspots will be available for up to $50, with internet access available for $15 dollars for the first month of service. Since 1998, PCs for People has been a driving force behind digital inclusion efforts across the U.S. Over 250,000 computers have been distributed nationwide by the program.
