OTTAWA – The LaSalle County Health Department reported that a female in her 70’s is the latest at 39th COVID-19 related death in the county. 36 new cases were also reported by the health department, along with 6 new recoveries. The LCHD also explained they work closely with area schools to identify those who tested positive for COVID-19 in order to prevent further spread, and that parents and school faculty and staff should notify the school if they’re identified as a positive case.
